The Cleanliness Indicator tracks three different usage statistics: sessions, total run time, and active session time, since last cleaning.

KioWare has added support for mobile devices in the drive browser system. This allows users to transfer files to the kiosk (drive browser) directly from their mobile device rather than a USB drive.

Ability to lock the mouse cursor to a primary display when using multiple monitors. This allows deployers to limit mouse movements to only the allowed display.
Auto start applications can now be set to manipulate the application’s main window, hide KioWare, and hide the desktop cover.
KioWare has updated support for STAR printers using the new STAR Printer API. This provides additional STAR printer support as well as re-establishing support for STAR printers that were previously supported.
KioWare now allows for facial recognition integration via the Omron Facial Recognition Device. The device, the Omron B5T-007001(XB1), can be used to estimate a user’s age, facial expression (anger, happiness, neutral, sadness, and surprise), facial identity, gender, and more. When used with KioWare, the kiosk can serve different content based on the recognition of predefined characteristics.
The Innova device is a general input-output device that includes functions that can cycle LEDs, monitor environment sensors, and detect vibration. KioWare now offers support for this hardware integration.
KioWare now integrates with the Omron Multi-sensor 2JCIE-BU01 to store temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, light intensity, sound noise, acceleration, eTVOC, and other environmental information.
